Purple & White Game: Pack the Gym on October 17

Mark the calendar. On Saturday, October 17 at 3:30 PM, the Arizona Gila Monsters and Mikey's League come together for the Purple & White Game at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Chandler - and it's going to be special.

Selected Mikey's League athletes will take the court alongside Gila Monsters players for a full game experience: real introductions, real refs, real crowd. For many of these athletes, it's the biggest stage they've ever played on - and they earned it.

But the game is only half the story. October 17 is also training day for our new Game Day Staff. The special needs community members joining our operations team will be learning the ropes live - music, stats, filming, hospitality, announcing - in a real game day environment before the regular season tips off.
